The seminar will focus on LGBTQ history, its documentation and preservation, as well as the impact of LGBTQ+ history on the process of social change in our societies.
Speakers at the seminar will include Katarzyna Remin, head of the Polish LGBT organisation KPH’s (Kampania Przeciw Homofobii) project “Academy of the Engaged Parents”, who will talk about the history of the development of the LGBTQ kids parent movement in Poland, and Kristīne Garina, head of the LGBTQ+ and Friends of LGBTQ+ Association MOZAĪKA, who will talk about MOZAĪKA projects in documenting LGBTQ history. The seminar will also include LGBTQ organisations from Lithuania and Estonia who will share their experiences of how LGBTQ history influences social change in their everyday work.
